I think this is a great idea that just needs more development to be fully realized. The art style is endearing, the fantastical take is a fun one. I think the tie to the theme would be cooler if we received more information about all the natural elements (like the Dragon's Blood tree) while playing. Maybe a mechanic can be added so that in every level, or wherever the player reaches in the world they recieve a new organism or environment to protect alongside an introductory informational placard for immersion. This reminds me a lot of fantasy open world action RPGs like Genshin Impact, which is something maybe can be sonically and mechanically taken inspiration from. Good luck!

This was super fun to play, and I think all the game mechanics were super clever and clear despite the fact that my skill prevented me from getting far enough to experience more of the lore. I think being thrown into gameplay right away is preferred over lore dumping most of the time, but I think if it's possible to add more context/narrative or use of theme throughout gameplay or even at the beginning it would be even more immersive. The atmosphere and worldbuilding visually is very unique, absurd, and captivating. It was a vibe, I just wish I could have understood it more narratively/contextually sooner.

This is just incredible. I love the connection to real life radical climate justice, a topic we need to see more directly in the games we play. It would be even cooler if you could include/implement  testimonies from protesters or facts about the movement to enhance the educational aspect. Maybe even including clips from the videos you left in the description as a loading screen or something like that if possible.  Love the how the tactics the protesters use are not only applicable to in-game, but in real life as well.

The blurb really gives the game heart, narrative, and context. I think it should be put into a prologue that the players can interact with in-game. I just wish I didn't struggle with the mechanics so much, it seems this is a common issue. The game is beautiful, perfect and most powerful example of progression of theme I have played thus far.

I love the graphics, it's simple yet super atmospheric. The colors are ethereal and liminal all at once. I think the mechanics make the gameplay a bit difficult, the timing between when I click for movement and the action feels off and I can't track it well. Maybe it's "too" overpowered, or doesn't match up with the player. I got the second level, wish I could have gotten farther. All the best, hope I can play more !

I think this is a lot of fun, and I love how unique the toy designs feel. I think it would be a lot of fun to see each platformer match the toy's details or the toys stylistically, like each platform is its own world.

Super addicting, the system discharges were such a perfect way to keep the game innovative and fun. I think the text used for each card could be more legible, I adored the idea.

Everything is so atmospheric and detailed, it truly feels like I've entered another realm. The sound effects, music, and art compliment each other really well. The game already feels complete, and the controls are very clear. I think movement is a bit on the slower side, and for this style of games I prefer something smoother/faster in terms of movement. Maybe adding another style of playable character? I adore that you worked on this as a couple, how romantic. May this take you both far in your love for one another, and in your developing adventures!

Love the animation for the squirrel, it's very iconic. The double jump is a nice touch. I think the sound effects don't match up with the gameplay, but otherwise excited to see the rest! Best of luck.
