Great concept! Its missing a few things like a tutorial or a way to prevent phasing into walls, but other than that good entry.

Fun game! Love the artstyle and the achievements are a cool addition

Actually the game was originally going to be more similar to Getting Over It, so I'm glad the inspiration to Bennet Foddy is still there. Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry about the bug, it didn't appear during testing. I will try to fix it after the game jam ends

Pretty fun game, I love the artstyle of Captain Cooldown. Althoughg, as other comments have said, level 3 is pretty difficult and i couldn't get past it.

I first played this game 2 years ago. Today, finally, I have beaten PINFALL. It was very good I hate it

Thanks!!

Thanks a lot!

Thanks!

Thanks a lot!! Getting the mechanics to work (specially when its the first time I have tried to do something like this in code) was a challenge so I'm super happy how it turned out.

Thanks!! I would have liked to work a little more on the level design but I spent most of the time on getting the player mechanics to work, so this is all I could do.

Did you find it too hard? Can you give me any suggestion to help me improve in the future?

Thanks

Thanks

I'm sorry I didn't explain it better. You have to interact with the lever (E) and then go into the door. I will add something to explain after the jam ends.

Thanks for your comment!! I was thinking of adding more effects to help the sensation of helping but unfortunately I ran out of time. I'm thinking of adding them after the jam thought.

Thanks a lot!!!

Thanks for your comment!! I'm sorry to hear you couldn't finish the game, I will look to fix some bugs after the jam ends.

It's my first time doing a platformer like these so I still need to improve in the movement aspect. About the full restart sorry but I forgot about checkpoints. Thanks for your comment!!

Sorry for the checkpoints, I forgot about them until the very end of the jam and didn't have enough time to implement them

Thanks!!

Thanks!!

Don't worry, it works now, sorry for the incovenience

When I try to play this message appears: Error
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross-Origin Isolation - Check that the web server configuration sends the correct headers.
SharedArrayBuffer - Check that the web server configuration sends the correct headers.

It's a pity the game looked cool

I actually wanted to add something that connected both scenes, but I ran out of time. The first scene is actually meant to be like a tutorial and I originally planned more levels but once again ran out of time. With the boss the same. About the last scene you're right it is cut. I will fix all of it when the jam ends

This is so good! You are definitely going to be one of the winners. Some recommendations:

Improve the enemies. Instead of them not colliding with any obstacle think of implementing a way for avoiding them. Also I think the fighting system needs an improvement. And reduce the spawn rate unless you are going for a hard game on purpose.

The two shops in the middle of the island don't convince me. Maybe you could change it to a boat that appears periodically?

Also I think the recollection system can improve.

I'm pretty new in this so don't take this recommendations seriously but overall great game

A tutorial and a way to turn down the music would be cool, and also some of the orders are hard to distinguish when there is sauce on top of it. Overall it is a pretty good concept.

I thought the game was relatively easy to understand but it seems I was wrong. I will update  the game in the future with a tutorial as I also want to add more minigames and improve the art.
