This is a nicely designed adventure, both in layout and in setting. Players bringing their own backstories that tie them to the antagonist makes it feel like the game could play out in so many different ways depending on how they have been wronged. But what I feel the game does really well to balance that unpredictability is that it has really good NPC summaries. Even though there are a lot of NPCs, I feel like I could play out scenarios with any one of them being either an ally or hostile to the players. I think this would be a fun adventure to run just to see what my players can come up with. The only thing I would change is I would list fewer neighborhoods, but include a bit about what they're known for in the 1920's. I think that would add to the sense of place (I assume Fremont was still weird then). Nicely done.

This game is really well designed. The detail of the setting and the variety of ways events can play out is impressive. I don't normally play journaling games, but I think this would be a really great foundation for a one-shot adventure, especially if you have a very collaborative group of players. Nicely done.
