try adding it to steam and launching via steam, that seems to work for most controllers.

unfortunately, the team is gone at that point. Had to restart the run quite a bit myself due to same issue.

I downloaded the most recent release as of 36 minutes ago. I now can use the gift Beldum, however, immediately my starter Torchich was replaced by a Treecko sprite, a Bellossom back sprite and the name is "block text". it goes unrecognized by the pc or the save overview, and when I swap the lead with the Beldum, the beldum becomes the sprite for both pokemon until I exit and reenter the pokemon menu, then the Torchic is simply GONE....
