Well, it WAS crashing constantly, and performing horribly the entire time before it did crash.
Edit: Crashing fixed by disabling G-SYNC. Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings -> Add -> "Game Name" -> Change Monitor Technology value from "G-SYNC" to "Fixed Refresh".
Update: As for the current content, the only thing I don't love is the look of the player.. It's literally so distracting and ugly I would rather just have a png of a donkey replace it in every scene.
