sorry if this is another really obvious question, but I’ve been trying for a very long time to get up to the door with the two kobolds on it in the village. How do you do it?

im stuck at the attic part. Where is the book that dave needs for the ritual?

Maybe im just really dumb so im sorry if this is an obvious fix but there are two points im stuck at.

1. The area at the beginning where the cube thingy is glowing and theres a moving bush??? is there a way to get past that wall thing blocking the way or am i just wasting my time

2. The big jump part with the purple spikes. Maybe i need to get something from another area but like ive looked everywhere and cant find anything. 

im really slow to understand mechanics like these so please help
