I'm working on a retro platformer enemy asset pack, inspired by the types of enemies you'd see in Classic NES Mega Man games.
I'm trying to keep animations and color palettes minimal to stay faithful to how enemies in NES games function, while also not completely ignoring modern game engine convenience.
So far based on how I see other enemy asset packs on this market be priced, I'm planning to make a total of 8 enemies each with 4 color palettes variations, and a separate simple global VFX sheet for about 5-6 usd, I don't know if this would be considered a reasonable deal or not.
Here are a handful of the examples I've worked on so far

Here are some of my questions for developers who could be interested in buying these types of assets:
• Do these enemy archetypes look useful for platformer gameplay?
• Are the animation states clear enough?
• Do the designs seem to fit whatever projects you see yourself working on in a given time?
• Would something like this actually save you time in a project?
• Is there any other concerns that I should be aware of when looking into commercial asset creation?
Thank you!
