Heeey I'm glad to hear you could make it work! Honestly I am very new to gamedev and I think I just made a bad inventory design, because what I think it might be happening is that... when you select an item with space to change its properties you get locked in that item... you cancel out with Ctrl and move, or you can hit space again and place the item...

But, you hit space on an empty slot... I think you get locked out and you have to cancel with ctrl to be able to move... I didn't test that haha also, if you are changing properties on one item, you should still be able to close the inventory... but I think I made it so you are locked until you place the item or cancel with ctrl...

So yeah, things I need to look out for in the future...

But again I am happy you were able to make it work and enjoy it a little! Thanks for the feedback, this will help me to get better at this 😁

Hi, Thanks for your comment and feedback, relaly appreciate it! and glad that you enjoyed it!.

I didn't know that it was even possible to export audios from a game made in Unity to an actual mp3/4 file, I am very new to Gamedev and this is my second minigame ever, so there are a lot of things I don't know and now that you say that, I will investigate further on how to do this. I am thinking of expainding this idea, so if I do I am taking all of the feedback I get in here, so thank you for mentioning that, I probably wouldn't even know that was possible if no one ever suggested it!.

Greetings!

hey thank you! Yes I am thinking of expanding thia idea with different sounds!

Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to play and comment! 😁

hey, I'm sorry to hear that, you are right I should make it more intuitive or provide better instructions, there were some instructions in the inventory... but they got cut off for some reason...

Here's how it works, you grab the items from the scene first to add them to yoir inventory where you can here their sounds... select the item you want to place in the scene with space key... where you can change the intervals, offset and pitchs... and once you are happy with the settings, then hit space again to confirm and place it into the scene making the sound!

you can cancel the selection with Ctrl key ie you decide you don't want to place that one...

And so on, the idea is that you out the items back in the scene once you give them the settings of their sounds... and by combining multiple objects you create your music.

Hopefully this helps and maybe you can give it another chance.

I promise I will update the game once the jam ends...

Let me know how it goes! and I hope you have fun with it! 😁

Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it! And I get what you're saying, I think I replied to your comment in the gamejam page, but I might take this concept and build something else or improve on it so I will definitely take the feedback about the sounds in consideration! Thanks for playing and commenting!

Hey I'm happy you liked it! Yes at first is a bit tricky to get the hang of it... I was worried people might nlt understand it, but I'm super happy to hear you got to even enjoy it :D

I was divided on making instrumentsl sounds or random ocean sounds, I thought it was funnier with random sounds, but I am thinking lf taking this idea in the future and improve on it, maybe I will and will take that into consideration?

Thanks for the feedbabck and for taking the time to play and comment 😁

This is very comfy, great artstyle and interesting characters.

Hey thank you for your time on playing it and giving me your thoughts! I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you liked it.

I was worried that maybe it was too technnical and tricky to understand at first, to me that is one of the hardest parts... Conveying instructions, hopefully not a lot of people are getting thrown off by not knowing what to do.

But I'm glad you did figure it out and I appreciate you rating it!

Cheers!

This one has been my favorite so far, very fun, very epic and fun to play. The only feedback is the same as other comments here, instructions are not clear, I had to figure it out, now, this is not entirely bad, be being a fan of old classic games, I remember when games didn't give you instructions at all and you had to just press buttons and try things and see what happens haha I just think that in this time and age... people might get turned off from that.

Aside of that, great game!!

I just got help on this and my game is now part of the submissions, thank you to everyone who helped me get this sorted!!

Thank you!

I am proud to have finished the project... but I am sad, hopefully I can get some help and make it... even if I don't win anything, just wanted to be a part of it :D

I finished my game for the uplifting jam... but before submitting it... my build started failing, and when I finally got it to build properly and upload it to ith io... I went to the submission, I had for form opened and everything, but it failed and the submission closed... I did finish my game on time today... the hold up was that the build failed two times, or rather, one failed and the second built it correctly, but since it was to be played in browser, there was one object with transparency that didn't work and block the entire view... so I had to build again... all of that made me be out of time.... but pleeeeease, can you guys please take my submission???

this is my first jam and I worked really hard to finish it, I did finish it barely on time, with like 45 mins ahead of time, but the build attempts took all that time for me... I don't want all the time I worked on my game to be for nothing since I created the game only for this jam...

I am begging here haha  thanks in advance, if you allow me to enter... I would really appreciate your empathy and comprehension
