The Windows version doesn't seem to run for us. It gives a warning that it may be harmful, blah blah and if you click the Run Anyway link nothing happens.

There are just 48 hours left to finish up your games for the jam. We have games and climate mentors available on the IndieCade Discord all weekend to answer your questions about game development or climate change/clean energy.

We will be hosting a final presentation event on Discord at 1PM Pacific on Sunday 5/2 showing the gamplay videos you all should be including with your submissions (30 sec - 3 min ea). Join us in the #cj21-chatter channel and we will give you a chance to talk about your game while the video is playing. We will be streaming them to the IndieCade Twitch channel as well.

If you want to get your game reviewed by our mentors you can use this form to sign up for a slot. We will be running show and tell sessions each day over the next 3 days

Tomorrow (4/28) at 9am Pacific time we will be hosting a show and tell in the IndieCade Discord. Join us and some of our mentors to show us what you are working on and get feedback.

How is everyone doing today? If you have anything to share, screenshots, general ideas, gifs, audio files, etc. post them in the #cj21-show-and-tell channel on Discord or post them here. If you are on Twitter tag @IndieCade and use #ClimateJam and we'll retweet you.

See the full schedule here

Join us at Noon Pacific on Earth Day (April 22) on for a panel featuring four of our jam mentors to get you excited and inspired to start working on your creations around clean energy solutions. Then follow us over to the IndieCade Discord to find a team and keep the discussion going.

Here's the link

Join us this Saturday 17 April at 12pm Pacific for a pre-jam meetup on Gather.Town for a chance to meet your fellow jammers, the jam organizers and mentors. This is a great chance to connect each other, form teams and prepare for the upcoming jam. We will post the link 15 minutes before the space opens. There will be spots to chat, play games from past jams and watch the videos prepared by our mentors.

We also have a looking for group channel in our Discord to help people find teams. Invite link is on the main itch page.

Should be fixed now, sorry for the confusion.

It might not be eligible for any of the award categories but it still sounds like a good idea for a game.

I think that was an old link, should be fixed now. UrGxAUnus9

Cat Colony Crisis, the winner of the grant from Lab-X is now available on Steam. Congrats to Devil's Cider Games on the launch!

Did you get this sorted out? Sorry for the late response.

Just a friendly reminder that submissions close at Noon tomorrow (11/22). A little earlier than usual to give us time to play and judge your wonderful creations. I would encourage everyone to hang out on Discord tomorrow and play each other's games while we are judging. Then we will reconvene on Discord around 6 for final presentations and awards.

Slight change of plans, we'll do the intro presentation on and then reconvene over in Discord to do brainstorming, team forming and pitches.

Don't forget to vote for your favorite theme idea here:

The winner will be announced tomorrow at the start of the jam. We'll be gathering on Discord in the #sigj-voice channel to kick of the jam with some quick announcements and an opportunity for you to pitch your game idea and find people or a team to work with.

Our friends at Unity have provided this list of resources for jammers as well:

When you begin working on your games please take any or all of these words for inspiration: Adapt, Engage, and Protect.

Great write-up, thanks for joining us! Hope to see you and the game at future events, we'll be having another show & tell event in February after Global Game Jam at Pacific Science Center again.
