there were a shocking amount of little nuances to the gameplay loop. the box variety was nice and i liked that you were able to push multiple boxes if there was a heavier box at the end (sorry im struggling to word it but you probably know what i mean). the game also progresses well throughout the playtime. the start is easy to get acclimated with and the difficulty curves in an exciting way. good work.

i really wanted to do binary visuals too but i ran out of time and i was worried they might clutter the screen a bit too much... i did have some effects for when HP wrapped around (they weren't binary- i was trying to go for an amusement park mallet game vibe) but they got cut after i overhauled the look. thank you very much for playing and the kind words!
neat concept! it might be nice if there was a mechanic that rewarded the player for units left alive- bonus money or other boons- but i get that you were using the money counting down as part of the theme. i liked the character designs- they kinda reminded me of sega genesis sonic enemies. good work :o]
cute game :o]. the zero gravity level was fun and the overall look / sound was very pleasant. i didnt have issues with pre-level text- and i think it contributed to the overall theme (not jam theme but game's theme of development)- but the variety really reminded me of warioware so it could be neat to take a more rapid fire approach.
the "lemmings" style gameplay was fun. getting a big group together to attack an enemy does feel rewarding. as the previous commenter said the pacing and balancing feels just a touch too slow. i nearly got to the end of the thirty minutes (accidentally returned to the main menu with only ten minutes left haha) and i had numerous groups at the deposits but my material output was still way under what it needed to be. good work though its a neat concept
all of the details were incredible for a game made over a weekend. the music and sound effects were great. the framing / background effects / slight movements (on the character portraits and small stones off the board) made the screen feel lively without being overly distracting. ive never played weiqi before so i wasnt too good at it- but it was very fun to play and the upgrades were also very fun.
