I liked what you did with the theme especially the start. I really liked the graphics and sounds at the start it reminded of old arcade type games and it had a really cool feel. I also really liked the reverted controls I didn't even think of that for the theme. some suggestions could be the hit box on the player sprite as it felt very bad as you could go to the left and touch the wall but the bottom and right made you clip into the walls so it destroyed the feel of the game.
