Fair enough for the modifiers - but I definitely updated it properly. Uninstalled the old plugin, even deleted its zip folder, installed the new one from its zip. by all means it should be the new version. I made a second model with rigify and same deal - oversized mesh, no animations, no rigging.

Same problem, moreso now actually since the subdivision modifier doesn't work either

yeah no shit?? if you don't treat the message with sincerity though you're just stating the obvious while not making any worthwhile contribution to a topic, making covering the topic worthless.

if you think the game tackles it well, fair enough; but make that clear. responding with this dishonest shit makes it feel more like you dislike fascism for the moral aesthetics rather than the immediate danger such dangerous ideologies put on human society at large.

Trying on Blender 5.0, seems to just cause the model to scale really large without scaling the armature and fails to export any of the animations

I'd love this but I don't think it would be possible to get this working under Linux; definitely not under Wayland

Tried moving data files around to different areas and using both new and of-the-version data files, no avail just loading screen. I've double and triple checked all available instructions and can't find anything I've done wrong.

yeah just a loading screen for me, even after like an hour of reinstalling the game and prerequisites. no feedback on why it's not working either

wow ok this is kind of awesome wtf??

Wine issue. Shows up with Proton. Wish the game would be ported natively personally but we'll see

There's a Linux version now by the way - both here on itch.io and on Steam

The answer is yes. Played it with my Index with relative success

did NOT know they were a limited thing! noted for future dev interactions. thanks for the clarification

TRUE

Tragic, but understood. Buying the game anyway

Will buying the game on itch.io come with a Steam key?

epic

So...you made an itch.io page for the game...to NOT sell the game on?

Is that not...extremely counter-intuitive? You really don't have to put any extra effort into an itch.io release, I don't think. It's the same game. Why wouldn't you?

windows officially has no games

if you think that's bad you have no idea what you're in for the last part of the game

I'll never forgive Pixel for the true ending route

downvoted for literally being right

god this would be such a nightmare to walk through in real life. I love it

idk how likely it is but I think it'd be sick if some article categories could sometimes trigger theme changes, like sea life makes the place more water-y or something like that. but that's a lot of work and this project is already REALLY cool as-is. still, if you wanna make it even better, there's an idea for ya

Nah, and the game hasn't been updated in several years so it'll probably never get one. Proton's your best bet

NO

THE ANSWER IS NO

HOW IS THAT NOT OBVIOUS

(1 edit)

all games on itch.io are DRM-free, i.e. do not have antipiracy measures, as itch.io has no method for implementing DRM into games

that said, if you do pirate and enjoy the game, do consider buying the game regardless to support the developer. it's important, especially in the modern video game development environment

I was aware of this, I just have more luck with native ports and I think promoting Linux as a standard OS is very important. Either way thanks for the unwarranted passive-aggressiveness, wasn't aware you're still a needlessly vindictive asshole

this runs on Unity, not Unreal. Which is terrifying because unity is considerably less demanding
