Looks great! I had fun playing for a while, thank you for making this

Cute game! I think you should add screenshots to display on the game page to show off the beautiful art!

Thanks!

Thank you!

Thank you that’s nice! I always feel that making art is the most enjoyable part of making games, though programming is fun too. It’s how I started out making game assets

This is such a unique and cool interpretation of the theme, how did you come up with it? I liked it a lot and found it quite relaxing . Would be cool to have something like this on mobile to carry around during a stressful day!

Hey! I made another little game (for a game jam) with your music, hope you like it! To the game

Hey, I’m also taking part in the beginner’s jam and tried out your game. I actually really liked your approach to not change scenes, It was a fun way to get right into the game! I think it was done really well and including the instruction directly in the level brought it all together :) I do think the game is pretty difficult though

Hey, the game is cool, but I think it would be more fun if there were more instructions on how to play it. I didn’t realize at first that I get to keep my gold when I die and wondered what I was doing wrong

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I downloaded the game but it wouldn’t run. Not sure if it’s just me though!

This was such a sweet little game! I really liked the sounds, especially the squeaky one. Took me about 26 falls to get to the witch and I really loved the ending and that you included a little cutscene for it 💛

This is so cool, it even has a tutorial! Thanks for making it, I had a lot of fun with it (even though I’m no good at it)

That’s cool, took a few moments to figure out how the controls workt but otherwise quite fun! I love that you actually implemented the surface, I couldn’t think of a good way to do that. I’m making a game that is very similar (not much of a surprise, given the theme), only that you play as a turtle that dives for a pearl.

Thank you for the quick reply! I’m just starting out with game development, so I’m not planning to win prizes any time soon, but I’m really looking forward to joining a game jam!

Question is in the title :)

Thank you for chosing my assets, I’m always when someone finds them useful and uses them to create something new!

Also, if you have ideas what I could add or suggestions on how they could be improved, I’d be happy to hear from you 💛

Cool game with an interesting concept! I played around with it for a little while and it was quite fun, I’d love to see the idea developed further! Thank you for using my assets, I hope you enjoyed working with them. I hope the game does well in the jam. 💛

That’s great! I played some of the tracks while working on my game and some of them could be a good fit for some other game ideas I plan on working on in the future! I’m looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future :)

Thank you for the quick reply! I used the spring farm track in a small puzzle game that I fjust published. I really like it and it was exactly what I was looking for! Here is the game: schwarnhild.itch.io/petal-pop-garden (It’s just a very small project I made for fun)

Hey! I love them, can you tell me what the license is?

Not sure what you mean by sign, you can use both version in any project, free or commercial doesn‘t matter. There are also no royalties or other strings attached :) Please do include my itch profile or credit me if you end up publishing your project somewhere ☺️

Thank you very much! 💛

Free to use in any project, there is a license document in the download folder. Please credit me if you use it though

This is fun! The shooting is really satisfying with the effects and the screenshake!!

thank you!

Thanks for the feedback, it really encourages me to keep creating nee things!

I suppose you‘ve got a point on the animations, this is only a mock up of a little scene I created in Aseprite.

As far as I know, the animation speed for individual sprites can easily be adjusted  in the engine

Beautiful assets they look like a lot of fun to make a game with! You have a cool and unique style and everything looks so cute!

Thank you for the kind words! I wanted to try something new and wasn't at all sure how it would turn out, so I greatly appreciate the feedback! 💛

Thank you, that's so encouraging to hear! I usually like working with outlines when doing pixel art, but I've been wanting to create something more loose and a bit more detailed for a long while and finally had the time.

I think I naively underestimated just how much more work it was going to be, but it was so much fun to make and I really do hope that people will enjoy it and be inspired to make something beautiful with it ! 💛

Thank you for the suggestions, I already started working on a female version and some other variations. I'm also planning to add other animations mainly running and attack animations. Unfortunately, I can't promise that I can make them in 8 directions, since that would effectively at least double the workload for every animation. They are a lot of work to make as it is, since they are meant to fit in a 32x32-sized tileset, and my priority at the moment is to complete all the animations and make new characters and maybe enemies.

I‘m looking forward to it, I‘m sure it will be great as always!
I haven‘t checked twitter in ages because I deleted the app, but my account should still be active :)

Thanks! Yes, I plan to keep adding new animations like running, attacking and fainting and also some more characters and enemies!

I'm always open to new ideas too if you have suggestions!

Thank you! It's much appreciated!

Thank you my friend! It is nice to hear from you, have you been working on anything new lately?

Thank you my friend, I appreciate it! Sure, you can always contact me via email (schwarnhild@gmail.com).

I hope you like the other assets so far, if you give me your email I can send you a download key for this one to try out :)

I made a volcanoe themed expansion, when it is finished I'm planning to start with glaciers!

That‘s cool, everyone has to start somewhere and if I can help to make the process a bit easier with my assets then thats a big encouragement for me as well! I wish you the best of success with your game, and I hope you enjoy working with the assets too :)

Thank you, it‘s so nice to hear that! I worked on some smaller games in the past (for fun only :) ) and I had the same problem with music and sounds. Nowadays I don‘t have time to make games but I still enjoy making assets and I‘m always happy if someone finds them useful! What kind of game are you working on? I‘d love to hear how it works out.

Thank you, I'm glad you like them! I love the game, the style is cute and all the assets work great together!
