Thank you so much! Yeah I’m really happy how the ending of that song turned out. I’m glad you liked it-

Breakcore <3

Necessary comment out of the way-
I really like the range of intensity in your submission- I do wish there was a little more going on in ocean detectives and you failed, but that’s ok!, but I love the beat break effect you used for cool shop. Also the clean looping in that is nice too- Great work!

I love the relaxing first half, your piano playing is really nice- And I really like Night Ride especially. I think it could have used some more complex drumming, but otherwise really good- Great work!

I do really like The Fire Slowly Dying, I just wish earlier songs, especially the main battle theme, were more fleshed out too- That being said, the soundtrack is very pretty, and The Fire Slowly Dying would definitely make for a good area theme. Nice work!

I love the vocals in Undersea Exploration, but the last part of Venture Forth is really good too- nice work!

I do wish the songs felt a little more different from each other, and having names for each would be nice. That being said, I do like your sound design- Nice work!

Yeah I feel you on trying to find time to rate things- I knew I was gonna get destroyed this week because of pushing off a few things to do this but I did not know how firmly some of my classes would reject the idea of me trying to do anything else for a sustained amount of time. Oh well, gonna try to get a couple more in tonight-

My reasoning for having Below the Skylight as it is / not having more EDM influences in the first half of the soundtrack is that I really wanted Linalool to be a surprise. For example once I realized I was not gonna be able to do jazz for the slot between 2 and 3 I played around with the idea of making a Purple Verse-inspired more traditional EDM song. I’m glad I didn’t though because it would definitely have been way too rushed and I think it would have definitely made the soundtrack as a whole flow worse. That being said, I think it could definitely be cool to add more to Below the Skylight if I do a remix sometime down the line-

Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it-

Thank you! I’m glad you liked it-

Yeah I don’t really know what else to say other than “yes”- I am definitely in agreement that [1] Last Summer Day is the best but I also really liked the “trial” theme use in [7] Drowning in Deep Waters and [4] That Summer Night successfully awakened the “oh no” Danganronpa sleeper agent inside of me- Also I very much appreciate the clean loops, that’s very nice. Overall a really really good submission, great work!

I definitely enjoy the chill vibes at the start, especially in Malo, and then how you flip them around later (specifically in Malo I noticed how you reversed some instruments at the end and I think that detail is pretty cool in a relisten). Nice work! (also sorry for imploding replies slightly itch kinda bugged out on me)

Nice work! I really like it- Yeah I’m in agreement that Waves is definitely more on the intense side of things but I also don’t really mind, the synth does sound pretty cool-

Thank you! I’m glad you liked it-

Yeah, that’s entirely fair, I did know I was taking a bit of a risk to say the least- Thank you though!

Yep that was indeed the hope- XD Yeah, I should probably learn more mixing, but oh well- Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!

I really like how each of the songs here flow into each other- very much giving me RPG area theme vibes. Nice work!

Great work! I really enjoy the vibes all around, and especially with the piano in the last few songs. It definitely very much fits the visual novel theme- I also like your take on the art too!

Nah, you’re fine! It happens- I’m glad you liked it!

Thank you! Honestly, I feel like past me really struggled with starting songs well, so I'm glad to hear you liked that aspect-

Thanks! Yeah I do definitely enjoy having the contrast of probably the most aggressive song I've released one song away from a pretty strong contender for the calmest song I have-

Thank you! And yeah, I did write a story for this- I made a rough outline and wrote about half of it before I started composing any of the songs, and then finished it up after I composed everything. It's in the liner notes PDF if you want to read it-
