Thank you so much! Yeah I’m really happy how the ending of that song turned out. I’m glad you liked it-

Necessary comment out of the way-
I really like the range of intensity in your submission- I do wish there was a little more going on in ocean detectives and you failed, but that’s ok!, but I love the beat break effect you used for cool shop. Also the clean looping in that is nice too-
Great work!
Yeah I feel you on trying to find time to rate things- I knew I was gonna get destroyed this week because of pushing off a few things to do this but I did not know how firmly some of my classes would reject the idea of me trying to do anything else for a sustained amount of time. Oh well, gonna try to get a couple more in tonight-
My reasoning for having Below the Skylight as it is / not having more EDM influences in the first half of the soundtrack is that I really wanted Linalool to be a surprise. For example once I realized I was not gonna be able to do jazz for the slot between 2 and 3 I played around with the idea of making a Purple Verse-inspired more traditional EDM song. I’m glad I didn’t though because it would definitely have been way too rushed and I think it would have definitely made the soundtrack as a whole flow worse. That being said, I think it could definitely be cool to add more to Below the Skylight if I do a remix sometime down the line-
Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it-
Yeah I don’t really know what else to say other than “yes”- I am definitely in agreement that [1] Last Summer Day is the best but I also really liked the “trial” theme use in [7] Drowning in Deep Waters and [4] That Summer Night successfully awakened the “oh no” Danganronpa sleeper agent inside of me- Also I very much appreciate the clean loops, that’s very nice. Overall a really really good submission, great work!
I definitely enjoy the chill vibes at the start, especially in Malo, and then how you flip them around later (specifically in Malo I noticed how you reversed some instruments at the end and I think that detail is pretty cool in a relisten). Nice work! (also sorry for imploding replies slightly itch kinda bugged out on me)
