Thank you playing! I'm glad that it was easy to understand at least. I do feel as though I may had made it a bit too challenging by trying to make it not too easy 😅

I can imagine! It looks great though and I liked the progression that you added to eventually get the shield and even made sure it wasn't OP with the timer on it!

Great work!

I did make it so the yellow enemy is closest but that can happen to where you don't see it right away making it a bit more challenging.

The controls are very similar to old RE or tank controls and I felt that it fit best to make it more of a challenge and look more natural instead of freely going back and forth. I do think that I could have tweaked the movement to make it a tad easier.

As for healing, you have a chance to get a health drop if you aren't at full health, the purple have a 15% chance, red 20%, and yellow 25%. I added that after I could barely finish my own game so I understand and maybe I could have made it so they drop even more the lower health the players has. 🤔

Anyway, thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! I really appreciate it!!

The evolve animation was pretty epic!!

Thank you so much for the feedback! When the theme was announced and it was evolution I kind of panicked thinking that I was only going to come up with ideas that were too ambitious in scope and settled on this one. Spore definitely was an inspiration, so I'm glad that's where your mind jumped to.

I wanted to make a clear and defined way to win and lose so that is why I decided on just getting the core dash and at least one enemy in the game first and then worked from there. I had a lot of ideas for other ways to evolve, but I didn't want to get carried away. I felt as though 3 was an okay amount so I could go on to making the title screen, and getting the shaders to work as the eyes orginally did not serve as much of a purpose.

The music and SFXs were very last minute things that I threw in just so it wasn't completely silent. I wanted to come up with some kind of music or background ambiance, but that is not my expertise and I didn't want to include random copyrighted music or anything.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it though!!

Chrome. Should I try a different one?

It got addictive once I got the hang of it 😂

Thank you for the feedback! I felt as though the tank controls made more sense since free movement would have been too quick for what I was going for. It also made you feel much more small and microscope in my opinion! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thought it was fun though!!

Totally understandable! You did great with what you have within the time frame though!

Overall a nice little platformer. I will say that the camera almost feels a bit too zoomed in and it would be easier to navigate if it was pulled out just a tad bit more.

I love a good TD game! This one is pretty good! I will say having to restart whenever you return to the greenhouse to get upgrades kinda takes away from the overall experience though

The artwork is awesome! I seemed like I unlocked everything super quickly and ended humanity just a could seconds longer than 2 minutes though

The gameplay, art, and everything is all great! Doesn't even feel like a game that was created in a weekend!

I'm not sure if it was just me, but I could not get the game to load. It kind of just froze my whole browser and I just heard the music playing on repeat

Pretty decent overall. Having attack be a mouse click makes it so you can use dash but once you get the rabbit foot then you don't really need it. Really like how big the map seems to get!

I like the concept of it. I think having the different types of flowers have more to set them apart, like one can freeze while another burns, or something along those lines. I also couldn't get merging to work when I had tried it though
