Hey! NO idea what is happening with the PDF not being searchable — as far as I can tell the file I'm uploading works fine, but if I download a copy from itch I can't seem to search for it either. I'm traveling for the holidays at the moment, but I'll look into that (and probably do a plaintext option) once I'm home.

As for the Mercantile Array: that was an old setting element that ended up getting cut (and folded into the Gilded Cage) in revision. The old setting element list somehow managed to sneak through — oops!

thanks! both intimate play and subsocietal individualization are terms of my own (although others have probably used similar one in the past) and plays on typical child development language like "individuation" or "parallel play." i'm using them here to talk about the private (intimate) lives (and societies) of children, beyond adult observation.

Hi there! That would be the "damage" associated with choosing that path — so, if you've allocated yourself six points in "Sacks" and attempt to take the second option on the Ace of Pentacles (Go another way) but roll higher than a six, you'd need to roll the listed die (in this case a d6) and add that to your total Sacks "damage." 

The first d10 you roll is used just to determine if you take harm, not how much harm you take.
