I liked the idea and it was fun to collect the buffs and finish the game. However I needed to come back here to realize the full controlls (dashing). Got the double jump buff by wall-jumping around the corner. With a bit more UX improvements you could make it work greatly.

The goblin was succesfully outsmarted 👍 I like Wordle, so seeing it more gamified in the future could be cool. Fantasy worlds are always great for that. I had a bit of overlapping UIs during the intro scenes on 2560x1440 screen.

The game looks really stunning and I liked the blurr effects made by different pixel sizes. However I struggled to get my hands around the fighting gameplay, while the exploration was neat, I couldn't get the fights done and would have prefered a simplified fighting style. After the great intro I was a bit lost for where to go. The freedom of choice in the first spawn denied me of going further. To me personally it would be cool to explore the world further.

If you'd work on it more I'd like to have pop up missions like "catch X blue fireflies" and it giving a multiplier or flat point bonus.

That was a lot of fun. Great art and feel.

If you need a spoon for pizza, try baking it 🤝 Thanks for playing!

I run as fast as I can. But I need more time.

Thank you Wizard. He's a Wizard too apparently.

Thanks Isuka! I had the sushi discussion with a friend of mine aswell. What I see is a lot of chopsticks for sushi in western countries. Maybe I'll swap them out for noodles.

Thank you :)

Thank you :)

Thanks for playing!

This was a lot of fun to play. Great job!

Thanks for submitting to the GameJam. The game looks very good! To me personally adding a bit more story into the game could greatly enhance the experience. It does not have to be actual story, but a path which is drawn by the player. I feel like the choices are just random if I only see an image thereafter (and even similiar odds between cards). Maybe you could have a bunch of texts to additionally show that my choices as a player matter or showcase the overall progress. Great idea. Would be interested to see what it will become, if you decide to further develop it.
