I'm currently on 7.1 but it doesn't seem to want to update? just gets stuck at the prompt downloading, tried downloading a exe but it seems it doesn't like upgrading through the installer. Any suggestions?

I will grab it here to have an android version handy but I'm wondering if eventually the apk could just be included as a bonus within the steam directory? not many games do but some have done that as a way to put out a android version

question, I've noticed the full release is a bit behind recent releases, can it just be updated upon install/download?

respectfully disagree, with setting up retroarch on multiple platforms it's tedious and cumbersome the actual menus, the drag and drop nature of retrobat and I'll give a mention to retrodeck too is a godsend. More time playing games, less time configuring.
