Ah yes I didn’t plan to add PS4 controller support specifically, but any PC-compatible gamepad should work.

Gracias :)

Thank you!

I have no idea how Linux works but if unity will build it, I will upload it

The game is free :)

I will try!

I agree :’) I am still working on it

Hello! I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems with the game. I will look into those issues for the next update :)

Thank you !

Hello! Thank you for being so excited to play Zoomies! Unfortunately Zoomies is not currently supported on iPhone. You can play Zoomies on a Windows PC by downloading the latest build on the store page.

I agree! I will look into it!

Hello! Yes I love Monkey Ball :) definitely an inspiration haha Thank you for your lovely comment!

Hey there! No plans for a steam release yet, sorry. But maybe in the future.

Hello! I am currently working on adding multiplayer to the next update. I cannot give a date on when it will be available since there is a lot of work to do, but please keep checking back :)

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll keep tweaking the balance and handling of the cats :)

Thanks for your amazing, detailed feedback! :)

lol that’s awesome! I’ll have to give cheat engine a try

Hello! Zoomies will always be available for free :)

Hello! You can download the latest Zoomies version via the itch app or by heading to the store page.

Hello! That sounds awesome, but I might have a look on my own and will add support if it's easy enough! Thank you!

Thank you!

Hello! Thank you for your kind words about my game. Please read this post about multiplayer coming in 2025!

Hi!! Just an update on this:

I created a cheat code system and put your cat into the game :)
All you have to do (from the next update) is input the code "SOLOMON2207" and it will replace the skin for the Tabby cat with one that looks like Nugget. I posted some images in the reply to your Twitter message.

Hello!
I appreciate all of the great ideas, but just remember I am just one guy doing this in his spare time :'D I will definitely take your feedback on-board, especially putting your cat into the game. If you send me a DM to my Twitter, send a pic of your cat and I will try and put them into the game for you.

Thanks!

Hi there!

Multiplayer is currently not enabled in the demo. Sorry about that! I will enable it when the game is near completion. I will add a tooltip in the next patch to make sure people know this.

Really glad you enjoyed the other parts of the game! I am definitely refining the tracks and adding more cats so you should follow this page to stay tuned into the semi-regular dev diaries and patch notes.

Hello!

I have reduced the volume of skidding/screeching and have tweaked some physics values that should make it harder (not impossible) to spin out. I have also further limited the speed of AI cats on the Easy difficulty.

These changes will be available in the next update!

Hello! I'm really sorry that you're encountering this error.

Please note that Zoomies is a Windows game and has no official support for linux at this time. It should work fine on a native Windows machine. I'm not knowledgeable of the linux architecture so I can only provide limited support.

Do other games work when you run them in the same way? I am building Zoomies using the 2021.3.5f1 version of the Unity engine and am not using any special libraries.

Maybe it would be worth contacting itch.io support about the wine error when running using the app? Perhaps they can help you more than I can. I am really sorry that I cannot be of more help.

Hello! I'm sorry that you are encountering an issue! Please describe the error you are encountering.

Are you using the itch.io app to play?

Actually, I just now got it uploaded. You can now download using the itch app :) let me know if you have any issues

Hello!
Yes unfortunately Zoomies is not currently compatible with the itch app. I have never used the app before so am currently researching the app to make it work with the next versions of Zoomies, so it will be compatible in the future.

For now, if you want to play Zoomies please download the latest build from the store page, extract the files to anywhere you'd like, then click the .exe to play!

Hmm the difficulty bonus bug is definitely concerning! I will definitely look into that and fix it for the next update. As for the controls - this is something I’m constantly refining with each update so I’ll take your comments on board and will make some changes :) thank you for the feedback

Thanks for the feedback! I'll see if I can add something like that :) cheers

Hello! I am currently working on the next update :)
I will write a new dev diary this weekend which will talk more about what is coming up next!

Hello! Thanks a lot for playing :)
The current demo version 0.9.1 includes some physics improvements so it's easier to drift. Just something to consider in-case you ever revisit the game. Stay tuned for more cats and tracks!

Thank you for the generous contribution! The latest update has made the cats a lot easier to control so less spinning out!

Thanks for playing and I hope you return soon :)

Hi! I am super glad you like the game! I noticed you played the 'old' version of Zoomies. If you download the new demo, it contains new graphics, tracks and more!

Thanks for playing !

Hello! Yes I’m unsure of how the app works but redownloading from the store page should definitely work. I’ll look into getting the app myself and trying to get it to work on there!

Let me know what you think!

Thanks so much for the video! I really appreciate that :) yes it looks like there's some collision that shouldn't be there. I'll make sure to remove that in the next update. Good find!

I will try and beat your time :P it might take me a while since you've set a really good time I am struggling to beat it!

Thank you for playing!
