Peak overstimulation core. Exactly the kind of game that the new generation needs.

The gameplay is good. The fact that you have different "builds" with bullets and gravity weapons allows for replayability. The gravity weapon design is very innovative. Charge up a powerful weapon, at the risk of making bullets home in on you. If I was better at bullet hell games I'd probably enjoy it more.

The sound design is excellent. The visual design, while janky, is very cute and charming.

Fantastic twist on a pair of classics!

Turning Space Invaders into a tower defence tile placement game adds a lot more depth. While simple, the tile types have depth of strategy in how you use them. There is definitely replayability in trying to optimise the placement of tiles.

The visuals and sound design are excellent, very retro, much wow.

There are some technical issues. On wave 22 and above, I ran into a glitch where the enemy death sounds got progressively louder until it was deafening. It is also possible as of the writing of this review to build off-screen. From wave 25, the game lagged to the point where it was impossible to control.

Overall, excellent experience. Would fit right in in an old-timey arcade.
