Sorry, it was not supposed to play outside it’s custom platform: that is a custom arcade built for the game jam.

But for debug purposes, you can play singleplayer with keyboard:

Arrows: movement
Z - dock into battle cruiser
X - boost and cancel menu selections
C - shoot and confirm menu selections

your’re right! But I had only 10 hours, while learning a new engine for the first time (pico8)
