This has been patched in the version released right after this one.
We opted to rework a couple of the beginner quests into something new. We also plan on adding more and more quests for people who unlock all expansions. This will add some sense of progression beyond the ~50 hours of gameplay to max.
NOTE: The hours to max is a prediction based on the old system and the new rates of interactions. It used to be roughly 150-200 hours of gameplay to max, but we heavily sped up the game, so the new hours until max is significantly reduced. This speed up has caused significant mayhem in the store, but we plan on increasing the productivity of workers in the next coming releases.

While this doesn't compare to Supermarket Sim, I plan to add a lot to it with some fun, unique systems. Things like world exploration and player-made deliveries are currently out of scope, but I am not opposed to reaching a point where I can add them.
While fixing this bug, we found another one. This one was a major one that caused major problems when XP became bigger than an int is capable of. So, we had to implement a check to ensure when XP became bigger than an int we then offload the excess to ensure XP never triggers a negative which then causes a indefinite loop which hangs the entire game.
