Yeah same with me, dead at day one. I interpreted the same, with ATK 1 against DEF 2 you won't make any damage.
First Run, got to a dungeon at day 1. Got attacked, couldn't escape, 2 hits from the Robot later I am dead.
10/10 do recommend.
