This game is a masterpiece. I have played for tens of hours, and explored every inch of the map, tested every interaction between the mechanics and how the interplay weaves infinite complexity and depth. I have crashed the game countless times, achieved high scores I'm sure are world records, and I know there is still more to explore.

You may not believe me. You may be put off by the sound design, the graphics, the surface gameplay mechanics. Let me share one of the base techniques of Shrek Shooter, to start you on your journey of mastery.

Start with amassing a small collection of Upright Shreks, around 20 or so. Kite them around until they form a single mass, then lead the mass through one of the tents at the campsite. This will form a Shrydra, a glitchy, writhing mass of Shrek. If you then kite the Shrydra around a tent, and jump on the peak of the tent as the Shrydra passes through it, you will perform a "Shrydra Jump". This is the most basic movement ability, your dodge roll, your air dash, your double jump. With this technique, the depths of Shrek Shooter will open to you.

Glitch occurs when dragging unit to line between squares 1 and 3. Can reproduce in 1-3 tries. Bug is visual only, everything except last unit moved is deleted when the round starts. I would assume it is an issue with the snapping when moving units resulting in the data being overwritten on round start. Just guesswork tho.

Rather obscure bug with Ethereal Torch : If you swap two monsters holding Ethereal Torch,  the torch will sometimes only proc once.

I tested this by swapping a Chip with Replica holding an Ethereal Torch and  a Seras with Flanking Maneuvers ,  given the effects of the torch using Replica.

Sometimes only 20 strength got added, and sometimes 40. The monsters also sometimes stayed in the same place, as intended, but sometimes they swapped. Strangely, this did not seem to correlate with the amount of strength added.

Edit: After further testing with the same setup, the effect rarely activates three times. I have no idea what might cause this.

Defender + aura pot = good

The aura pot can gain shield, meaning if it appears in a fight with an enemy that grants shield and you have a high speed monster you can easily get upwards of 1k aura from it

ethereal torch sometimes loops it's effect, repeatedly teleporting the monster between two positions. This occurs roughly 50% of the time and lasts an average of 6 position changes. If it is upgraded to legendary +1, when placed on chip it can cause a stun lock.

edit : I did more testing, and it seems to be more consistent the less it is upgraded.
