SUCH A COOL IDEA!
I really like the game idea, the visuals, the plot. Unfortunately, the game stopped working for me at the Charlie's part (black screen, unresponsive, after I quitted the fullscreen, I couldn't get back), but I'm thinking of downloadnig it and trying one more time!
You did an amazing job here
That was wild, that was interesting but I guess there wasn't enough time to polish it. It would be nice to see some tutorial, floor counter and maybe some ending collection/counter + explanation (not always I knew why I got a specific ending). Anyway, it's a very interesting concept and take of the theme, good job!
I also encountered a bug when sometimes The Evil Guy didn't spawn even when I had a full determination.
The colors are really beautiful, as the artwork itself! I managed to pass the first level but it was pretty unintuitive and my ghosts acts strangely sometimes (they spawned before the obstacle and couldn't jump up), but it was still a solid idea!
Also, the corridor on the left from the start don't have colliders? I think so.
I like the artstyle and overall look of the game, it's really cozy. But as other people said, it's quite hard to find correct combinations, because of amount of variables (even I was noting some of them down) in it. I would think of some more clues?
Anyway, good job with the game, I like this type of the "puzzles" and spent a little, trying to find the correct one :D
I have to say I get pretty lost. First time I decided to go without tutorial, the rooms were the same (only option was to turn right, but movements were increasing even when I clicked left). I restarted, checked out the tutorial (as other people said - text was a little too fast) and this time it actually works. I like the idea, even though I'm terrible at rhytm games. It was also hard to check the health bar at fight so some suggestions/sounds would be awesome. Anyway, good job!
The narrative is nice, I really enjoy the calls from the boss! As a feedback it would be nice to have some suggestions when the stuff is starting to break (maybe the arrow like the tasks in Among Us, maybe some information in the corner) and the different model for character standing left/right is always a nice addition.
Anyway, good job in making this game!
You little monster! You bastard! You make me feel like lab rat, went through all the stages of rage, sadness and grief when I couldn't find or catch this stupid buttons. I tried tactics, I tried being quick, I tried chaos, all of this, while writing the review in my head! (And even jumping here to write this few sentences and bounce back)
Okay, the one-minute room was so nice. I expect this button to start moving, to do anything, but I got even better stuff (even though I tried leaving button to spy a little :C).
But I agree on the person below (and I see you tried to get a little reviews on Discord!) that this game have an amazing story, amazing concept, could be easily a horror game (I was waiting for scary stuff while focusing on buttons) and I'm absolutely impressed by all the ideas! Keep it up <3
PS. There is little bug in clicking on time minigame (at least this one I got straight away, yay!), after the time is displayed you still have the "click now" button, even it's waiting time.
Honestly, I really like the concept here and even the levels are pretty easy and straightforward - I see the potential here (a potential for some lore clues too!). It would be nice to have an option to speed up the time a little (because I was wondering a lot and waiting for my ghost later), but still, good job!
Very nice concept, I would like to see more (like others said: interacting with objects, more weapons, more rooms, more effects while killing enemies to give us some dopamine)! Still, very solid and polish game for Game Jam.
PS. I think I saw some mistyping at the beginning (challeger not challenger or something like that, for me text was a little too fast)
Controls and camera are pretty tricky, but when you get used to it - they are really fun, especially when you see your previous versions struggling to move. I also like the narrative, like the loop and the change in the response to our deliveries. Did I miss the way to end the loop or it is just an infinitive job? :D
