Hi! Thanks a lot for taking the time to play and for leaving such honest and constructive feedback. I'm really glad you liked the hand-drawn artwork and the overall take on the theme!
Regarding Jeremiah's behavior in the redemption ending, I totally see why it might feel unnatural at first glance, but let me share my perspective: Jeremiah and Lucio are written as polar opposites, heavily inspired by Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov. Jeremiah is meant to be a purely magnanimous character who represents ultimate hope and peace. I wanted him to forgive Lucio to show that hope can still be found even in the darkest places. Lucio himself is based on Raskolnikov from Crime and Punishment, someone who needs that level of grace to pull himself out of his lowest mental point.
I also hear you on the pacing of the dialogue boxes—writing and structuring all of this in just 48 hours was definitely a challenge, so feedback like yours is super helpful for my future projects.
Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!
Hii! Thanks so much for commenting, my friend! Haha, you might consider it unnatural, but let me explain why: Jeremiah and Lucio are polar opposites—I drew a lot of inspiration from Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov. Jeremiah is a pure soul representing peace, hope, and integrity; he's essentially a magnanimous being. I wanted him to forgive Lucio to show that hope can always be found, even when things look dark and distant.
Lucio is also heavily based on Raskolnikov from Crime and Punishment, who, with enough love, was able to break free from his lowest mental point and build a good life.

The narrative of this game... it's something else. I have no idea how did you make all of this in 4 days. I really struggled to came out with a conclussion (Maybe because my english is pretty bad lol) but I really meant it, this is the best game that I have played in this jam. Congratulations and good job ;)
Really fun game!I loved the gothic aesthetic, it sets a great vibe right from the start. Being able to take notes in the notebook really make you feel like a detective piecing the mystery together. Plus, the humorous tone in the story was a great touch; it creates a awesome contrast with the dark atmosphere. Having that deadline to catch the Count's killer before 7:00 adds great tension. Good job!
