I don't even think they're keeping us totally in the dark anymore, there's probably just very little progress and focus on the character generator so there's nothing to really show. No one would be excited reading "We finally found some time to create 2 new sprites for skirt A", and they know that.

We're expecting something great now, it's been several years after all, they know that too. The issue is that while we're expecting them to have years worth things to show whenever the update comes, there won't actually be years worth of new content in it.

Time keeps outrunning them. Expectations grow faster than they can justify working on the generator and it probably isn't bringing in a lot of money anymore. I bet the generator's development is running on fumes while the team members are busy with other projects and life things.

I think they're different teams too; the Stella team (which works on the art stuff and this character creator) and the bunny team (which works on the plugins). For some random reason they also released a super quick update on Patreon too but not on here? Don't get what that is about...

I totally get something went wrong and things got delayed, but I really see no reason for the radio silence. Even if it's just to say "things are ongoing, this is what we made this month", that'd suffice. Especially so since the current one is too buggy to be used properly. It doesn't export colors correctly and has plenty of other flaws. People have waited with complains about it because everyone was under the impression that the next version was just around the corner...

In case you're still in the lookout, I use this plugin with a lot of Visustella plugins. While not everything is able to be synced (like the furniture system or such that modify map data, or the victory aftermath screen which does work but require you to turn off the "level up" screen), a whole ton of them work great. The Battle Core was very recently fixed to the degree that it works and syncs for all players too. A patch for that is on the Discord. In terms of my own experience with this and Alpha Net Z, this is on a whole other level in terms of stability and ease of use.

By FAR the best MMORPG plugin (and multiplayer plugin in general) that exists right now for MZ. It's very stable and functional. Very excited for things like trading and such!

Haha I wasn't sure it'd work either, but I googled and this was exactly what I was looking for and decided to take a gamble. It 100% paid off!

Absolutely amazing plugin. I'm using the MMORPG plugin by Rodrigo Malizia, and by putting this plugin at the bottom of the list, it enables players to be in menus and still be able to participate in combat without missing the fight, it just pulls them out of the menu. Great job!
