Really enjoyed the concept and it definitely didn't overstay its welcome. I would definitely enjoy a larger game in this format with a compelling mystery, though some changes would have to be made to make the mystery more compelling. The biggest issue right now is that the mystery is pretty much "solved" from the audience's perspective very early on; we know that the CIA is doing shady stuff from the first few boxes. The conclusion of the game really only makes sense from a journalistic perspective, where a piece of hard proof was probably needed to actually make the story publishable, which isn't really conveyed well in the game. I still enjoyed connecting the pieces though, and certainly with some better telegraphing, I can see the player being more motivated towards the end-goal with a similar story. Maybe, giving a different and far more innocent goal for the player early on would have been more effective too, to make the later accidental revelations more impactful. I see the intent in including the nod to other conspiracies through the Reagan/Bush TV address , but I find it too blunt / gave the game away too early. Otherwise, the type of conspiracy used is appropriate IMO, where it's big enough that it would've been a bombshell in the era, but not one so big that the audience would be likely aware of it before the game even starts.
