I think you are right, many people would prefer a different theme. Horor games is much more than serial killers and I feel Gunscreen could have done better here.
My parents thought a serial killer game would be a bit dark as there might be like younger children or immature kids so they let me do it this time but Gunscreen, if you ever you another game jam can you make the topic a bit less dark?
