Damn, the visuals and the music does a lot of heavy lifting here! I'm pretty terrible at these sorts of puzzle games but it's clear a lot of effort and thought went into this game and it definitely shows. Nice work!

For a first project in an unfamiliar engine this was definitely a good start! Responsive controls is definitely a thumbs up. What would have really given this that extra level of 'oomph' would have been some visual/audio feedback on your shots - the enemies visually shaking/flashing/some sort of animation when getting hit, the sound of your laser firing or the impact sound of your lasers hitting the enemy, as well as a similar visual/audio feedback when taking a hit too. But overall, great job on your first game in Godot!
Love the pixel art, cute little tune, cool puzzles overall. A bit of a divided opinion on whether I thought the spikes raising and lowering by themselves was an interesting twist or unintuitive, as one might expect their raised/lower state to be tied to each move you make as well. Still, a fun little game, great job!
This was really tricky! After a few playthroughs I managed to work out what I needed to do - but almost. Then got stuck because the system refers to the 'turbopumps', but I didn't see anything explicitly called 'turbopumps' - took me a while to realise you need the injectors active during launch - I'd just try and fill up the injectors to the required level then turn them off. I didn't feel that part was super clear, but after that became an interesting timing puzzle to try and get the required levels just before liftoff.
Really interesting take on the theme, really satisfying to lose over and over and work out where you went wrong and what to do next time, resulting in a successful launch... eventually!
Nice work!
Interesting take on the idea. I enjoyed just beefing up one of my guys so they could earn me tons of money. The UI could do with some work, having to click on an X got a bit cumbersome - perhaps you could click outside the window to dismiss some less important notifications? Anyway, great work overall!
