I figured it out for some reason the install doesn't point at the right file to launch the game for reference it need to point to the game.desktop file to launch correctly I have ticket open maybe the Itch team can help you fix this so it can run through the app with no problem cheers

how do I launch the Linux version  I downloaded here it gave me a zip with a bunch of files but no game I have also tried the itch.io launcher and that doesn't seem to work either I can repurchase this on steam when it comes out if we can't figure it out here
