i appreciate your praise!

this was the first time i worked with this resolution (i think it was 24 x 24?)-- prior i was just doing 8x8. I could have definitely added more detail like lighting and all, but I never figured out how to get started doing that in time. thanks again for your comment!

oh really? you did pretty great, it's hard to believe this was your first time!

rip about mobile-- well i can't speak to the mobile rendering, since i couldn't figure out how to download the images on mobile and i think i couldn't see the images without doing that soo

ahh-- yeah I agree, the transparency really worked well for the lenses!

this is probably one of my favorite's yet! I love the splitting effect, the subtle sea-texture in the background, and the dual top-down but then front-back view, all shown in parallel! the starry sky and sunset are my favorite "past adventures" memories

i love the landscape! the giant worm and sandy area reminds me of dune...

i love the depth of the sea here! also i am wary of the giant pink octopus 0_0

kitty!!

I think it's very brave to put yourself out there, including your pain and the darkness in your life, with this story. That, along with the clear dedication to this animation (11 hours!!!), is very inspiring. Thank you for sharing this!! Also, your backgrounds look awesome! Great depth and pretty colors

(if this isn't about you actually, my bad, but seriously compelling story!)

i love the lighting effect near the sun and the areas it's close to, and your palette is minimal and beautiful!

awesome!! I like the sun in the back, the details of the man's facial features, and the big leaves' textures!

I love the fact that half the planet either doesn't exist or is hidden due to shadows!

10/10, I had no idea this game existed before I saw this art-- HK: Pablo's got its own charm to it (at least the art does)

the animations are awesome! I'm guessing the black and gold world is the final boss world...

yooo a pokemon one-- very fitting given the 30th year anniversary happening recently

I love the colors here! I think nosepass's expression and enthusiasm is very cute :3

woahh-- I like the self-exploration theme a lot, and the animation is very stimulating-- it makes my brain happy

i love the colors you chose! I think it's great you also showed the different stages of the art/different versions

I like your map, earth, binoculars, and magnifying glass a lot (especially the magnifying glass) !

beautiful! i love this lush jungle landscape! i wonder if there's anything lurking in the thick vegetation..

This is awesome!! I love how much you conveyed with these images-- the suspense building is 10/10-- with both the minimal art-style pics and the super detailed ones (like the eye 0_0). Thanks for commenting on my art, too!

I love the use of colors in this art!! the orangish reddish browns and light blues work well. also the duke of mars seems lonely— he’s only the duke of a few robots… pretty solid world building

definitely— thanks a lot Erin! was motivated to try pixel art again just for this jam, learned a lot even as quite a newbie
