Heyo! Yes, the capture settings are a bit fiddly, sorry. I'd recommend trying it as a Window Capture if you're using a Game Capture, or visa versa. That, or try the different Capture Method settings on a Window Capture. I hope that helps!

The tracking area for both the arm and the tablet is defined by the Spud Arm window, so to have everything work correctly, you'll want to have the Spud Arm window fullscreened or maximized behind your drawing software.

The Spud Tablet window stays a fixed size to make it easier to keep it properly aligned in your stream layout.

The hands are intentionally set up to disappear when the cursor goes too far outside of the tracking area - without this, some strange things could potentially happen when you need to use your cursor on a different monitor.

Heyo, to have Spud Arm appear left-handed, you'll want to set LeftyMode to true in SpudTabletArmSettings.ini, and then mirror (transform > flip horizontal) the arm capture in your streaming software.

Heyo. To make sure it grabs the correct window, you'll want to make sure you're using a window capture with the Window Match Priority set to "Window title must match".

Heyo! Yeah, they're tied together at the moment, so if you only want to use one of the two, just only capture one of the windows in your streaming software.

If performance is a concern, you should be able to minimize the performance impact of the window you're not using by replacing the relevant sprites with tiny pngs - like, 1 pixel by 1 pixel kinda tiny.

Hello! HandBottom.png is layered underneath Arm.png, so saving your drawn hand as the HandBottom sprite (and using a transparent/empty image for Hand.png) should let you layer the sleeve over it.

Hi! I'm not entirely sure I understand the problem, but you should be able to re-order the sources in your streaming software to place the arm behind the reactive images?

Assuming you mean custom images, yes, sizing is very important. There are photoshop templates available for download, and for custom art to work correctly, you'll want to make sure everything matches up with those in terms of size and position.

Ah, no worries, it happens.

Yes, it is entirely fine to use Spud Tablet in monetized streams or videos - that's pretty much what it was made for.

A credit in the video or stream description (either to this itch page or to my twitter, @Virtual_Graves) would be greatly appreciated, but is not required.

Heyo! You should be able to make the arm pretty much whatever size you like by editing the sprites, though you will have to adjust the Pointer Offset and Wrist Offset in the .ini to match the new positions of the tip of the pen and the wrist in the sprites. The arm template in the templates download contains a better explanation of exactly how that all works.

Hi. Sorry, but I think you have commented on the wrong page - I have nothing to do with the game you have mentioned.

Heyo, the system I am using for graphics does not support animated formats, sorry.

A mac version is unlikely, sorry - developing for mac is outside of my skillset.

I think I have fixed this with the 1.1 update that just went up!

I suspect something was causing it to run at an uncapped framerate instead of at the 60fps that was intended, so there is now a more strict ini-configurable framerate limit that should make it impossible for it to run uncapped.

Thank you for the donation!

That said, that is a very strange interaction, and I am afraid it may not be something we'll able to fix. Despite being intended for use with a drawing tablet, Spud Tablet is based entirely on cursor tracking, and not on anything tablet/pen specific. It appears that Windows Ink is preventing tablet/pen input from moving the cursor while it's actively drawing, so the arm doesn't move because the cursor isn't moving.

I'll see if I can figure out some way to work around that, but I can't promise I'll actually be able to come up with anything, sorry.

Yes, that is intended. The tracking for both the arm and the tablet is done by the Spud Arm window - that's the one you'll want to fullscreen behind your drawing software.

Yes, you need to use a Chroma Key Filter in your streaming software to get rid of the background colour. I hope that helps!

It's a little weird, but it is possible to make Spud Arm left-handed. You should just need to set LeftyMode to true in Settings.ini, and then Transform -> Flip Horizontal on the Spud Arm source in OBS (or whatever stream software you use).

Oh, heck, that really should not be using that much RAM. Please let me know if you were using the default art or something custom, and roughly how long you'd had it open at that point. Outside of that, I'll dig around and see if I can figure out what's causing it, but thank you for letting me know.
