There is horror, but it's probably about 10% (estimated) of the content overall?  But when it gets into the horror, it REALLY gets into the horror.

Stick with the story, it's well worth it.

One thing I do when I want to do a "buff" guy playthrough is put the skill slider up to 3x when doing the character creation - you can start as high as a 9 on Physical, which should win most physical checks.

Then after the game proper starts, I put the slider back to normal, unless you want to quickly create an all round Superman.

Make sure you've seen the second "happy event".  It does not necessarily happen in order, and the trigger for that event isn't one that comes to mind immediately and you're not likely to accidentally stumble onto it.  Check the Lessons In Love wiki webpage.

The sex might be the least interesting part of this VN.  That's not a criticism.  This story is absolutely insane and keeps moving to places I don't expect (but that make sense if you look back in retrospect).

Check the happy events.  You need to see all the happy events up to and including X.  It's possible to do those out of order.  There's also a few of the girls where you can get to the event that's listed in the wiki as the triggering event without completing all the events up to that event.  You need to complete all the events up to and including the events listed.

Is there a key letter to the cryptogram (such as Z=T), or do we have to figure it out from scratch?

You also can raise the % complete by buying photos/outfits in the shop and completing booty calls.

(1 edit)

Really enjoying the game, I do have a question about the economy of the game:  What is the difference between credits and cash?  Is there a place to use cash that you cannot use credits?  Where can you see how much cash you have on hand?

I'm assuming this is the "A Life of Prizes" event.  Yes, this puzzle is *hard*.  That said, all the answers are available in the game (and some of them in the event itself - look everywhere, do everything, and eat everything - *a lot*).

If you're still having trouble, start with the official Lessons In Love wiki. Replay events in the Event Tracker.  The truth is out there.

It's tough to keep a balance between advancing the plot with the newer girls and keeping tabs on the older girls (and there are still two slots on the "side characters" page to be introduced, if that is any indication).  That said, all of the storylines so far have been incredibly interesting and well-written, and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

I'm trying to remember if this screen is actually something available to premium members or if it's just a gag to get someone to think there's actually something premium there.  50/50 chance either way with this game.

If you do a certain side quest, you might be able to call in a favor.  (You have to complete that before day 36 though, I believe).

Sorry.  I'd pm it if Itch allowed that.  But posting how I found the information here would definitely go against the spirit of the forum.

That said, going back and refreshing yourself on the events for the appropriate girls isn't the worst thing in the world.

Until I figured out an alternate method, I actually kept a bunch of notes in a Word doc (I even manually translated all the hex code until I realized there was a wiki out there that had it translated).

There's one natively in version 0.46 (Net Corsair button on laptop in bedroom).

There are some pretty extensive wikis out there on the Internet.  They might not hold your hand, but you can find what you need to find the answer.

Someone less than 21 can procure alcohol from a particularly lax convenience store, but most liquor stores and bars card pretty hard.  If someone under 21 is caught in the bar or is able to purchase liquor from the liquor store (and state liquor authorities often hire underage people specifically to catch violating bars and stores), the bar or store will lose its license to sell alcohol, so they've got a strong incentive to self police.  It's totally believable to me that Chelsea couldn't get in a club (especially a strip club) without offering an ... extra benefit.

Clarification - this is in the windows version.

Bug report - In version 29, I'm seeing a renpy error with all of Osako's dialog:

Exception:  Sayer os is not a function or string.

Is there another update on the horizon?

I believe that the world corruption must be at a certain level to make some events possible.

See, this is why this game is absolutely amazing and I truly am in awe of what you've done here.  I've spent A LOT of time on this game, and have never come across a quest for panties.  So much to find and uncover, and you can go as shallow or deep as you want and be entertained.  Kudos!

Trying to get the spanking and pantiless corruption for Sami.  Without giving a step by step instruction, where/when in general should I be looking for those to be available?

Yeah, it's kind of like when you're talking to someone and they say "Um" or "y'know" every other sentence.  Especially in the script of the characters' thoughts, they should be eliminated.  Someone might say "Hee hee" or chuckle as a verbal tick, but no one actually thinks it.

Ah, okay.  One last thing on this thread - I found that if you pick too many things to update Haily on, and don't select the "That's all" selection, the corruption won't trigger.  That might be intended, but I just wanted to mention it in case it wasn't.

Gotcha - that first selfie icon is still grey on the end of the reunion report for me - but I do have the picture in the rewards/email section.

How do you unlock Haily's second corruption?  I just got both of her nude selfie's but I don't have her normal selfie yet.

Lol and yet it still felt like some exposition was missing?  I know, weird complaint to have.

Highly enjoy the game, but I do have a quibble with the 10.0 patch... I think there needs to be a little more non-porn exposition before the "confrontation" (weird to complain about on a porn game, I know).  Although maybe that's coming in the next update?

All in all, 10/10, would definitely recommend.
