Ahhh so it was you the guy above. Like I have said before, I haven't tried to copy any of the games - that just sucks.

Oh... well I can assure you that I didn't try to copy any of the games on purpose! That just doesn't seem to be a fun and competitive way to do things ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also the theme of this game jam was a bit narrow I'd say so I guess it isn't that much unlikely that there would be games with similar interpretation.

I tried my best this game jam! Cliffs are like that intentionally so it won’t be too hard playing the game.

Also each score is saved so after the voting period I can move them to a separate leaderboard with all of the scores during the game jam!

Thanks for playing! I played before a game called Grimstone here on itch and really liked that you could move around while building defenses. Maybe you have played it before :P

Strangely I don't have any lags in the web build anymore, I guess there was something to do with itch.io itself but good that it is fixed now xD
I will try to fix audio with those strange white rectangles appearing once voting period is over!

Indeed towers currently lack any distinctive features so it is a bit confusing to say the least.
Also IIRC I did some pitch randomizing for shooting sound but it seems it is barely noticeable hmm.

I made progressing easy on purpose but it seems I have overdone it a little bit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This game was more like a prototype so there are definitely a lot of things to improve on. To think about that there is such a big amount of work to do even though the game is quite simple xD

The idea is quite simple: just train your pets to get better and go on an expedition with them for food. Basically the goal is to get as much food as you can!

We should definitely add some kind of a tutorial.
