As an answer for your question, well basically yes, this is indeed a Visual Novel. So... About Miranda. Since her route is still deep in WIP i have bigger plans for her, because she has a massive major role in her route. I really hope that, once we're getting there, you'll be satisfied with the aftermath of anything going on with her. If we are going to draw a comparison with another famous VN, Miranda's route could be probably the 'Heaven's Feel' route of the Fate/Stay Night (⸝⸝> ᴗ•⸝⸝)

Updates are (and will be) reeeeally slow because, like I said, i'm the only one working on this visual novel, i'm making it for free and unfortunately my job takes me away a lot of time. Being a visual novel focused on slice of life, i'm trying to focus more on the narrative, relationships and worldbuilding, just to not jump in directly to the hot stuff and making the flow of the narrative more natural. - You're absolutely right about the day-night backgrounds! I'm planning in the future to work on the background images like you suggested (and probably doing some new ones, like the bathroom one didn't went nice as i though. (━┳━｡ _ ｡━┳━) )
- About the close-up images, it was a hellish moment ╥﹏╥ I tried so hard to matching most of the sprite trought a big amount of generations. That were the best one they come up, but to be honest i could improve and work on them a little bit, so i'll get my hand on them once i want to give the game a little bit of polish with a future update! (〜^∇^)〜
I'm really glad you think it that way, but i can assure you I use NovelAi3 That program really made big steps in terms of work done, and i also went trought a process of trial and error in order to get right most of the sprites (with the exeption of some of the backgrounds, unfortunately.)
