I was wondering what i could do to show the player what the second ability did better, its a toggle ability that activates on next hit, it currently turns the icon green but wasn't sure what else I could do (nor did I have much time to mull on it). I did have plans to redo the animations and make the gameplay feel better but didn't have the time, as with a few other things like enemy ai. Thanks for the feedback!

Cool game, reminds me of dome keeper. really like the character model, its cute. Can sympathise with limited time, my teammate couldn't do the full jam so was a bit of a rush. Props for getting it done and submitting!

Really cool idea, really challenging too, feels like typing for the first time again. A biy of the countdown was chopped of my screen due to Fullscreen issues. Satisfying clicky sounds and the music fit well. Fun game!

Cool concept and well executed. I like the mix of puzzle and exploration, but found by it to be very trial and error, which works but doesn't feel as satisfying to complete a level. Love the vibe with the music and art. Great entry!

Cute little game with so much charm. I was a bit confused where I could and couldn't go. The music is perfect. Wish there was more things to do, but currently in the game fit really well.

Fun gameplay look and great art. Some feedback when getting hit would go a long way. I would prefer the rounds to have a softer difficulty curve as it escalates a lot at the end of each round. Overall well executed and cool game!

Really fun and engaging, I love the artstyle and the sounds were really funny and fit right in. It took me a few minutes to find the upgrade machine, might have liked something to draw me to it, first round I did not see it and thought shop might be between rounds. I also found I didn't have time to buy during the rounds (which may be intentional). For me I would have found an indicator for the spawner pausing so I knew I had some time to quickly buy an upgrade or two. I also hit the upgrade limit quite quickly on items, which makes sense but i wanted more powerrrr, even if it got super expensive it'd be nice to have the option to focus on one stat. Super fun and would def play again with more content!

Super cool narrative that ties really well with the theme in a unique way. The permadeath mechanic really adds weight to it. The art, sound and level design are all done really well!

Really cool concept with cool level design. I kept getting stuck on the sides of blocks and the death felt a little bit violent in contrast to the music and art. Nicely done overall!

That might have needed to be explained, the second ability is a toggle that summons a circle of spirits when you hit an enemy. Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

Thought the same thing but didn't have enough time to improve it. Thanks for you feedback!

Really fun game! I had a few bugs when playing, mainly enemies clipping into and through walls and floors, and in the tutorial area i accidently pressed heal instead of holding and got trapped. I found that enemies would commonly divebomb me from above which was a little annoying but I learned to use the minimap to try avoid this, sometimes i felt the down slash pogo was a little inconsistent and i would get hit by the enemy after hitting it (that might just be my timing), I also nearly got stuck a few times due to lava blocking my path or nearly impossible jumps. The chests and items were fun to collect and i just wanted more! I forget this was a jam game made in a really short amount of time, if this was a demo I would be really excited to play the full polished release as this is really fun. The amount of content and playability is great, especially for a jam. I really like the feel of fighting enemies and the art is amazing. I just want more!

This game is so sweet! I love the concept and you executed it amazingly! The simple art of the sheep were so cute, the variety of sheep was done really well. Sometimes sheep would get stuck running into a corner, but would be fine after leaving them for a minute.  The whole vibe with the sounds and the art is really cozy. Great job!

Thanks for your feedback! Had some other abilities in mind like a block/parry but didn't have enough time.

Glad you enjoyed, thanks for your feedback!

Thank you! Wish i could have had more time for the animations but sound and particles go a long way :)

The movement was simple but really satisfying, especially when you line up lots orange slimes. I liked going back and seeing if i can get all the ghosts in a room faster than before, but would have definitely enjoyed paying more, I also had the problem of not having enough time to make a longer game. Cute song that matches well with the game. Nicely done!

The art is really endearing. The gameplay is fun and is a unique take on the theme. I found kicking the count in the right direction a bit difficult when near a wall, but other than that really fun!

Super fun! Really enjoyed the last level, a good level of difficulty. Only got to 20, partially due to the humor of the texts thrown at me xD. Charming art but the pixel consistency seemed a bit weird. A great and unique game, I would want to see more of this numerically neighing horse!

Really fun and love the mechanical clock theme with the flower! While it was satisfying shooting and dashing though enemies. I liked the start where you had to be precise and the decision making of moving away to collect drops or stay in middle to defend better, but I found it didn't take long for my seconds to get to the point i didn't have to worry about losing, i also didn't do a good job at reading and had no clue what each drop or some enemies did, but it didn't effect my experience. Great all around!

This makes me realise I need a full drumming rhythm game, its fun! The invisible notes felt harder than actually playing drums lol, think id like them more if there was less focus on the visual tell. This could be really satisfying with a full drumkit. Well done!

I escaped!! Just the sorta mindless clicking i needed after a brain melting game jam, if only I had some grandmas to help me dig this hole. Though I might prefer to stay for that chill relaxing music, and frequent visits from my friend. Name twins!

Thanks for your feedback! Great minds think alike :)

I am biased as a drummer, but I do like a good rhythm game, the visuals are pretty but i found them a little distracting. I like the slow buildup to the frozen tempo, but i found it threw me off sometimes. I could definitely see this as a game to play on the go when i want to focus my attention on something. The metronome like sounds are very fitting, but I think you could have more fun with different sounds to find the tempo off, maybe even more abstract things, my mind goes to "feeling the tempo of the world", but that's a much bigger scope than a jam. Nicely done!

Love the art you've done, I can see why you didn't have time to finish, its so detailed! I like the concept of having to be careful about how long it takes to kill enemies and which to focus on. If the enemies ticked up over time and would be paused when hit instead of increase the other enemies health, I think itd be an interesting action puzzle platformer or something, chasing after enemies trying to decide who to target and trying not to let their health balloon. Youve got a great concept here!

Really fun! The controls are difficult yet feel fun and not frustrating, my first couple of runs felt like a manic rush to stay ahead, seemed like they would be really satisfying with some practice. At one point I managed to get stuck between the floor, a wall and the top edge of a platform and i ended up jittering until i clipped through. The bonus multipliers felt rewarding but wasn't sure how they worked. The art is pretty stunning, as someone who has only just attempted something other than pixel art for the first time for the jam, I appreciate it even more. The audio also fits so well. Amazing!

Yea I ran out of time

Thank you! I'm rather new to pixel art and so didn't have the time to add animations for things like the fire, I was hoping to add some interest to the background and had some sprites for it but didnt manage to get it to look good, just not got the experience yet.

Really interesting and fun to play! Great visuals too, might just be me but I found it a bit complicated and hard. Still fun to play though and I had a great time!

Thank you! Yea the sfx were added last minute and I have no experience making sounds so wasn't very happy with the result.

Fun and unique game! The visuals look very cool especially the giant robot, the movement felt a bit fast and slippery at first but didn't take too long to get a bit more used to it. Sometimes the suns felt like they were choosing when to kill me at random, sometimes they'd wait till there on top of me, other times they'd wait above trying to kill me, not sure if I like that part or not but it increases the challenge and adds variety. Super fun to play!

Really cool idea! I thought this was really well executed and balanced,  really fun!

Cool game with good visuals, think the grass and spike collisions might want to be shrunk a bit, think the first jump should maybe be a bit easier as an introduction to the game. Overall well done!

Really liked the aesthetics, wasn't sure about the game loop and didn't figure out the overheating mechanic as I could just constantly shoot forever

Really fun and interesting game, the movement was super unique and fun to use, got a bit frustrating at times as I found myself trying to instantly put out the fire when I landed on a small platform, just to have it not turn off and for me to fall off. I don't think its a design flaw, just something I'd need to get used to as a player. Outstanding visuals, great level design and amazing mechanics!

Thank you for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it, looking forward to trying your game out

Woo, I did retry and got something like 160 but forgot to record, oops

Really good looking game with smart level design, very difficult but fun to learn, great sounds too. I very much enjoyed playing!

Celeste but with a better omni directional dash, great game!
