I have the same problem but on a mac that is running Sierra 10.12.6 because it's pretty old. The the error's text is almost the same is it the same issue?

I'm sorry but I've got a little problem with the game. You see I downloaded the 9.02 version on my mac and I noticed I could not save and neither access the options without the game crashing. I read the comments and found out that another user had the same problem so I did exactly as you replied to him but the problem is still there. I know this is probably something stupid but I'm not an expert, so please help me, I love this game.
