Not sure if you're gonna get this, but where did you get the small logs? Im stuck in a loop of confusion.

It talks about "Small Logs" being needed for building involving the Quintuplets and for Lucy to build the canoe? Do I buy these logs from someone, or do I collect them somehow? I am utterly clueless.
