it had a resurgence of interest when a clip of someone playing the game posted on tiktok and it went viral, so dev rolled back to 7.0 since it had features that were removed in 8.0 and did some bug fixes, hence 7.1. he said he wants to continue working on it from 7.1 instead, but has a full time job so updates, if any, will be slow
