Hey everyone! We are super excited to announce that FASTPACE v2.0 is officially released! This update is packed with massive gameplay enhancements, brand new movement dynamics, and major multiplayer networking performance fixes.
Here is what is new in FASTPACE v2.0:
⚡ 3D Camera Directional Dashing
You can now dash instantly in whichever direction you are looking! Look up to launch yourself into the sky, look down to dive, or dash straight forward with zero vertical float.
👑 Re-imagined King of the Hill (KOTH)
Control a massive 25-meter tall capture zone that relocates every 60 seconds! Holding the Hill now awards +100 Score per second for every teammate inside the zone.
🛡️ In-Game Team Selection Overlay
No more cluttered main menus. When joining Team Deathmatch or KOTH, a slick retro popup lets you choose Red Team, Blue Team, or Auto-Balance directly in-game.
⚡ Silky Smooth 60+ FPS Client Interpolation
Multiplayer position sync has been completely rewritten with frame-rate independent linear interpolation. Remote players and bots now move buttery smooth on client screens with zero lag or stutter!
🤖 Smart Floor is Lava Bot AI
Bots will no longer camp on the ground! If a bot stays grounded for longer than 1.2 seconds, it automatically jumps and dashes into the air for constant high-speed aerial combat.
🎨 Personalization & Profile Persistency
Custom neon palettes, base armor colors, glowing weapon styles, and custom accessories (Crowns, Visors, Cyber Horns, Halos, Top Hats, Cyber Wings, Shoulder Armor) now save directly to your Documents folder!
