Thank you! It's built using a custom game engine, which was a huge help in getting it down under a megabyte. It was also definitely made to be controlled with a mouse / keyboard, but hopefully I'll be able to make a version that plays better on web mobile.

Noted about the balancing of essence, thank you!

*Edited: I have re-added mobile compatibility, thank you!)

Hello, I haven't heard from anyone else, and in my testing I can't recreate it. It's possible that you also upgraded "max crystals" at the same time? Since that upgrades zooms out the camera a little bit, which would make the beam look a similar size even if it's bigger.

Wonderful! I could see this becoming a sellable rogue-like!

Thank you! C was pretty fun!

Thank you!

Great job Sean! How you managed to make two games for two different games and both be interesting and unique is really quite impressive. This is definitely my favorite of the two. It's firmly in the action-puzzler genre that I love so dearly.

This game was pretty fun, has a ton of potential, and a really stylish aesthetic.  However, I could just spam the 1 button super fast and keep going forever. Adding an element where you subtract from the score if you press the button outside of creating the block could be a great fix.
