I didn't want to use someone else's art, and unfortunately I can't draw myself. Also, this game was made for a game jam with a specific deadline, and there was no time to select suitable art. But I wanted to add illustrations to support the mood of the project. I agree that hand-made art would look much better here, but generated art does its job for me too.
