I saw a post that Joe will livestream some play testing of every game in the Jam, starting on Friday over several sessions.  I would love to know some rough outlines of the order of the game tests and the times the livestreams will run, so I can tune in, an maybe be sure to watch roughly when our game will be covered.  I am sure I am not the only one?

It definitly engaged me.  it could have been  little more original but it was fun for a whole cycle.  thee was some dread!

wow, impressive game dev skills on display here, i suspect some pro talent?

one of my faves this jam.  There is a proper game there with learning and difficulty a curve, although its very steep!  I felt really concerned when i started to loose some of my rescued folk, and their bodies started piling up on the ground.  At first i thought it was a fire rescue operation, but then the giant caterpillar monsters made me think its an alien invasion and i am trying to help people (and cats) escape?  sounds and graphics are super cute

nice job.  i love the pedaling and steering dynamics.... it took a min to figure out but its fun.

beautiful use of 2d in 3d.  great walking animation :)  Nice visual mechanics with fading out foreground objects.  Artfully made!

graphics and music are quality.  parallax backgrounds are nice.  some dynamics were a bit stiff, eg changing lanes coolldown made of feel hard.

this one is great.  in love gravity games, and this one is sweet and very chill.

original concept.  a good vector math puzzle.  I started placing my arrows carefully, then just ended up spamming as many arrows as i could as fast as possible in the directions i wanted to go. it feels a little like work sometimes though.  What about allowing some at 45 degrees.  it would still be challenging but you could progress more fluidly..

cool original idea, funky music! it becomes a little tedious building your own platforms and if you make a bad placing you have to do a work around.  maybe there should be a little more direct exploration and only intermittently having to build your own way?

i wandered until my torch ran out without encountering anything but plants and stones.  i managed to get home in the dark and recharge the torch, but i could not understand any objective?  my second time out of the house i just headed south and again ecountered nothing?

nice weird mood.

i enjoyed the 2d/3d mix, and pace was very fluid, but a bit more drama on a adeath would help understand whats going on, seems like a glitch/reset on death.

music is killer, and concept is pretty cool, but the controls are not intuitive and let to frustration.

i tried for a few minutes on 2 occasions but could not really figure out how to play.  Kudos for 8 bit styles that felt consistently 8 bit for sound and graphics!

:) because we are software engineering students...

you can test the dynamics by opening 2 tabs on your browser side by side and switch between to testing firing, rebuilding, level progression etc.  Let me know if you want to play vs me...

the grab incoming missiles mid air thing is intentional, but messing with opponents catapalt is a bug. thankyou for commenting.

yes opening it in 2 tabs can allow you to test dynamics!  thanks for the comment.  I will give you a battle some time if we can get in sync?

yes, needing another human to play against is a barrier, thanks for the comment.

Fat Beats! cute and sadistic, a great combo.

Cool concept.  Great ambience, love the jungle sounds.  Great flowing movement. :)

Hi Jammers, our game Barrage is for 2 players, you get matched with anyone who is visiting the page at then same time as you.  There is a link you can give to friend to get online simultaneously with you so you can battle.  The game has no AI controlled opponent so you must get lucky with the timing while someone is waiting or invite a friend to play.  I think its a cool game but this complication seems to be too big of a barrier for people to rate or comment on the game.  Is this typical for gamejams?  Please try it folks, its Fun!  If you don't have a friend message me an I will play with you!  https://rufussed.itch.io/barrage

Super cute!

i like the ambient guitar music.

i could not even get started.  i could rotate my view with mouse, and move, i could raise club for a swing but the her was no ball?

i managed to move the wagon on screen one, and i got very nervous as monsters apporched the walls on screen 2 but no input i tried did anything?

Nice! i had no idea what was going on, but music is wild and its fun to jam out some whacky samples

Fun!  Music is great
