Thanks for the feedback, at least you tried the game instead of instantly dismissing it as “AI generated slop without any creative input from you.” I edited my original post in r/SoloDevelopment to clarify some things. I’ve been pretty open about using AI assisted tools for code, graphics and music, which are not something that I’m very interested in. My focus is mainly in game design, but I don’t feel like every page and every post should start with a disclaimer: “THIS IS AI GENERATED SLOP!”
Not sure how giving out a free game would be corporate and fake and against punk ideology. Not being part of skater and punk subcultures but acting like you are, and creating a commercial game with AI, and claiming it was all done by you, would be. All writing, animations, smaller sprites, sound editing and sound effects (many were based on sound effects from free stock libraries) were done by me. All game design was done by me.
Modern speech style was generated by ElevenLabs text-to-speech tool, Stephen Hawking and C64 speech styles were done by DECtalk and SAM emulators. All music were generated by Suno (although the intro song’s lyrics were written by me and spell-checked/edited by AI), most of the coding was done with the help of ChatGPT, all background art and bigger sprites like cars were AI generated, although for example the game backgrounds required heavy editing.
