I can't say that I've heard of that tutorial. I used Godot's built-in IK (inverse kinematics) and bone systems for the arm animations. Though it wouldn't surprise me if a spider animation would use a similar setup to move legs around.

Impressive! Thanks for playing!

We started with the idea of a solar powered submarine and only being able to go up and down. We thought this was enough of a base for the duality theme given the dichotomy between those ideas. We were hoping to add some more "in your face" aspects as well, but we ended up having too much fun with what we were building to want to push the theme further beyond that basic idea.

Thanks! Godot actually has a built-in bone system with IK that I was able to take advantage of.

The UI looks great! And the theme works well. It would be nice to see where each building gives buffs and debuffs before buying them and/or where they buff squares off the visible map, so I could plan my layout a little more strategically.

The map is very cool. I did start running into some pretty bad fps issues as I got further into the dungeon (I'm assuming from all the weapons I had). Overall a neat concept that I'd like to see further developed.

Glad to hear it! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that I'll need to take another balance pass at the drop volumes in the long run.

Thanks for playing! We were a bit worried about not going hard enough into the theme, but we were having too much fun to try to push harder beyond the general premise of up/down, light/dark (sun vs depths).
