Great concept, but after around a minute all the cars stopped moving when they were out of range of my towers so I was essentially softlocked.

I'm saying that there were broken games they made that comment on that didn't allow anyone to play in the first place. If I find the game again, I'll link it here.

Not a judge, just noticed that Negar Abedini was posting comments on games that didn't even run at all saying "great game and check out my game" or something like that, not a very good thing to do.

Just want to make it known that one of the people who made this is fake reviewing games (without playing them) to try and get more ratings on this

The game doesn't even load, lier.

It was a design decision, because if you can move faster than the enemies, you can just go around them, and if I made the enemies faster, it's hard to have any strategy.

gud gam

Just played it, love how you had multiple endings. Here's mine https://rtnman.itch.io/protect-the-core

The art/audio is some of the best I've seen in a game jam, but the gameplay just doesn't make any sense to me. For example, the combat. From what I can tell, you walk into an enemy and you each randomly hit each other until one of you dies. And the rooms are all basically the same, with very slight changes. Add an attack button, more room variation, and a much smaller map size, and you've got a really good game.

on some screen resolutions the goal can be far offscreen, I'd recommend playing in fullscreen, or just going right more to get to it. Now that you say it though, it could have used an arrow

nvm loads now, did you update it?

Pausing makes the controls stop working entirely and forces you to use the mobile controls, and it took me like 2 minutes to figure out how to get out of the first room, but other than that it's great.

I think you have some settings wrong, when this happened to me I turned on "decompression fallback" and turned the compression format to "GZip" (File>Build Settings> Player Settings)

Great for a first jam, but I do have some criticism to help you do even better for next time:

-The music on the title screen doesn't loop

-Slightly confusing UI, I thought the timer was counting down to my death, not to my win.

- I could never figure out what the right machine did

Other than that, it's all good.
