I'm sorry but this game jam was only for Retro Machiens like C64 or Zx Spectrum or some other 8/16 bit 80's machines

I will load it at sooner, after the live where all games will be presented!

Your game is cool but, following the jam rules, if u want to partecipate to Retro Snake Jam you should add a text (where u want in the game) like this:

 "Participated in the Retro Programmers Inside (RPI) and Phaze101 Game Jam"

Ma merito va anche a Mario Morra che ha riprodotto la musica del coin up.
Dovrei comunque miglioralo e aggiungerci livelli ... ma si sa le buone intenzioni non sempre superano la fase dello slancio iniziale

Classic hangman game
The player has 5 attempts to guess the hidden words and to score as many points as possible.
Each guessed word is an assigned point.
The words are in English and their length starts from 5 up to 10 .... but it will not be so easy to advance a level, every 5 words you guess increases the level and the length of the word to guess.

Using the suggested code to develop a game i realized that a game that works perfectly on vice  , it freeze itself at beginning on the real hardware and in some other emulators.
In this case the game is eligible for the cassette 50  compo?

I used the Shallan code against this emulator (but the problem is in the real hardware too) : https://lvllvl.com/c64/

taht part of memory seems rewrited after program starts ... i tested avoiding 02a1 initially but placing sprites data at run time . Sprites show an Hole!

There is a little problem on your really helping code

if i place a value $FF (but i suspect <> $00) in $2A1 :

your example freezes!
