In Misfit Mix, which is the canon that Xeno actually wrote for those designs, it says Partner || N/A + best friend Gray.

Which mod are we talking about? I'm guessing Xeno's, right? You didn't base it on Sprunki's original canon. You based it on XenOthatboi's Misfit Mix. And in Misfit Mix, XenO wrote "Partner || N/A" for Gray and Wenda, and they're just best friends. Changing that isn't "writing about it," it's misrepresenting it. Just putting a link doesn't give you permission to change the author's lore. That's not "okay." It's plagiarism of a derivative work.
