!!!! lovely program!!!! my only recommendation is to add a way to save the settings of each slider and a more accurate slider system if that makes sense? other than that, its fantastic!
Gosh, where do I even start? This game is INCREDIBLE! The sound design, the graphics, the story, the brilliant soundtrack! It's perfect and exactly what I've been searching for!
I work on VRChat worlds, specifically liminal space & weird colourful worlds, and this is just the thing I needed to gain back my motivation. I forgot how much i absolutely adored this stuff! It's inspired me to create another world, actually! One with dark, leaky rooms that lead into colorful abstraction that make no architectural sense.
The ambiance is uncanny, the modeling is phenomenal, and its not, what i call, false psychological horror.
i see a lot of games tagged as psychological horror when their only build-up is a jumpscare and no actual elements that really work your mind into scaring itself.
this game creates the PERFECT atmosphere to psyche yourself out! I didn't encounter a single jumpscare (unless we're counting me turning around and seeing the shadow man behind me, which did make me jump, but it wasn't in your face, yknow?) and i was still completely freaked out of my mind!
if i were to make one recommendation to you, devs, it would be stay away from jumpscares... or at least use them scarcely. i may be biased because I've never liked the jumpscare element, as it's just a cheap way to get a viewer to flinch... but from what i can see, this game has a lot of potential to be amazing without the need to deliberately scare the viewer!
I really hope you release the full soundtrack on youtube or spotify too! it's, and I'm not exaggerating, absolutely BEAUTIFUL! kudos to JORDANN and 4rest!
I sincerely hope this game makes it big. I sincerely hope more people discover the uncanny comfort of liminal space.
